Join Ohio Womens Alliance and Empowering Latinas Leadership Academy (ELLA) for a night to celebrate creativity, culture, and community with an evening designed to honor Latine heritage through art. We will be joined by community local artist, Cat Ramos for a guided paint session paired with refreshing beverages and good company. This event blends storytelling, color, and connection—whether you're an experienced artist or picking up a brush for the first time. ELLA will help spotlight local Latine voices and traditions, making this a joyful space to unwind, create, and celebrate. All supplies are provided. Come ready to paint, sip, and honor the vibrancy of Latine heritage.

Ohio Women's Alliance (OWA) is a power-building Reproductive Justice (RJ) organization that provides programming, resources, and education for women, gender-expansive, and youth who identify as Black, Indigenous, and people of color throughout Ohio. Rooted in the foundations of Reproductive Justice, our mission is to transform Ohio into a state where all people can truly thrive through access to safe communities, equitable education, holistic health care and wellness, inclusive and representative democracy, and economic prosperity. We advance this mission through our strategic priorities, with a focus on wellness and democracy.

Empowering Latinas Leadership Academy (ELLA) was launched in 2010 to specifically meet the unmet needs of Latina professionals in the Central Ohio area. ELLA is to provide Latinas with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to succeed in their chosen careers and become leaders in their fields. Through this dual focus, Empowering Latinas Leadership Academy aims to increase the representation of Latinas on boards, promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in leadership roles, and promote Latinas' voices to be included in Columbus Ohio's crucial decision-making. By offering training, mentorship, and networking opportunities, Empowering Latinas Leadership Academy seeks to empower Latinas to advance professionally, break down barriers, and achieve their full potential as leaders who can positively impact their communities and society as a whole.

Cat Ramos (Cycle 13 Mentee) is a 35-year-old Mexadorian (Mexican & Salvadoran) folk artist, poet, and photographer based in Columbus, Ohio.
